Probably for all of us the first fantasy stories were the fairytales. There are so many books that deal with fantasy and fiction. Here are some of my favourites.......
Harry Potter- Written by J.K Rowling, the first book of this series became a favourite when it was first published by Bloomsbury in 1998
Do you like a book with a flawless plot and a grasping story..? If you like to read a story of true friendship, bravery and love which is so magical you can almost imagine every scene right infront of you then Harry Potter series should be your choice. There is adventure,friendship,philosophy,subtle humour and wild sarcasm. My favourite series of books........Harry Potter!!
Percy Jackson- Author- Rick Riordan. Does Greek mythology interest you..? Do you have a surge of interest and a tingling sensation when you read those Greek legends..? Now what do you think of the existence of the Greek gods in the modern civilisation..??! Cool..? Interesting..? Awsome..? If any of these then grab a copy of the first book of the Percy Jackson series,Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. Highly adventurous and wildly humourous, I'm sure you too will love Percy's adventures in the world of Greeks.

Heroes of Olympus- If you have read all of Percy Jackson's adventures and want more of the gods then read Heroes of Olympus-The Lost Hero. Its second book is Son of Neptune. As for the third book, The Mark of
Athena,it is going to be released later this year. Make sure you read the amazing sequel of an amazing series.
The Kane Chronicles-Author-Rick Riordan. Love the Egyptians and their legends? Read this thrilling series and venture into a world where all Egyptian gods and demons are living in the modern civlisation.
